Hello Kittens! This is your Co-Admin Jamie writing, but you probably already knew that! :]
Anywho, my point for this note is simple, it’s more a question then anything. I just have a little prattling that I need to address before I come to my question. It seems that we are having a great deal of trouble getting people to join this site, or getting posts up. I’m sure most of it has to do with everyone being busy. If this is the case then my worry is for naught. But if there is something else that you feel the site could use to increase productivity I would like to know below! Suggestions are always welcome! :3 Just a disclaimer though, not all suggestions can be put in to play right away, but they will all be considered! With that being said, please leave the Staff some thoughts!
Thanks, Jamie & Admin

Some quick suggestions that I can make that I think might bring in more activity in traffic are as follows (Of course no guarantee it'll work, but hey~ it's worth a shot~!): 1) Activity in the C-Box I know it can be hassle sometimes, but that's one of the first things that people and guests look at I believe. For example, I know myself that when checking out a site to see if it's dying/dead I'll go read the c-box and look at the dates. Some sites I'll notice don't have many people logging on, like maybe 5 or so at most a day, but there's very little talking amongst the members of the site. It usually gives off a vibe that the sites dying or that people just aren't ever online, or don't have time to talk, plot, and be as active. I'm part of a loveless rp and it's fantastic~! The c-box is always very active *W* Sometimes activity can be slow for a few hours because of work and whatnot, but then when people get talking and chatting and having fun it shows that our site is alive. We have a little over 100 accounts registered, but I love that site to death not because of the anime/manga or theme of it. But, because it has that warm and friendly vibe to its members because everyone can talk daily almost like family. It's probably a little silly X'D;; But it's just something I try to look for in a site~ I can show you guy's the link that site if you would like ;w; We eve get people role playing with us who haven't seen or read the series at times, so it's like really cool I think ;w; <3 2) Coding for Posts I'm not sure if it was taken out or isn't able to be done now because of certain codes used on the site, but I noticed you can't use post bases. For example, here's a thread I've done with a post base. I think a lot of people like using them to make their posts extra fancy/pretty and if someone tries to post and see that they aren't able to do that then they might lose interest altogether in the site. (I've tried.. for some reasons coding just doesn't work for me on here or Eternal Knight T__T) It's really weird, but some rp'ers like the coding while others do not >__< It's all preference, but could be an issue @__@ This site is also the nice Loveless site I talked about xD <3 crossourhearts.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=refcenter&action=display&thread=13853) My final suggestion is how you go about posting this site. I think you should put more depth into what we are and what this site is. I read the advertisement posted on Eternal Knight and it's just a picture with some links to stuff on the plot. In order to bring people to the site (I've taken business classes, so I'd hope I'd know this ;w; ) You have got to be clear, to the point, and have to draw a lot of interest in the title and base of the thread. My advice is for the title. Do not just put "Survival Instincts" Add also what kind of RP it is. For example, "Survival Instincts-A (Semi-Literate/Literate) Apocalypse RP Pick Literate or Semi-Literate though for what you put x3 When browsing people look for serious and literate role plays. They also need to get a better feel for what the rp is. The title sounds cool for the site, but from just seeing Survival Instincts it could give off feels for a lot of different rp's for example, The Hunger Games. I believe you have to survive in there, someone could mistake it for that. So, having that it's an apocalypse could direct future members and show that it's not some other kind of rp. It'll make things more distinguishable. Also, for the body and description of the site, feel free to also add kind of what the site is about. Give it a more welcoming feel! Just the picture with links still gives confusion. Write up an interesting summary, or even post the plot with it, or a short and sweet summary of the plot. If people can read it, then they'll be able to decide if it's what they're looking for, or even draw people to look further~!!! Hopefully these ideas aren't too bad and will hopefully be helpful ;___; I tried my best to think up some things that might be able to help out ;w;

I can’t make promises on the first one since that is up to everyone else, but the other two are done! : D Thanks for the suggestions! :]
